So you've done your time hacking at rocks, wasted hour upon hour that could have been used in sunlight clicking on your screen to move a little group of pixels from a mining spot to a smelting spot to a forging spot. You have the equipment, and you've just had a bad day. Time to make someone PAY!
Runescape isn't just about building up your skills and your bank account. Sometimes you need to get out, meet new people...AND KILL THEM! After a certain amount of time you get to a point where some jerk desperately needs to catch a fireball in the face, or a sword between the ribs. It's fun, but you should always remember that it's an actual person behind the screen there. This means two things. Firstly it's nice to be respectful to them( about the fact you just slaughtered their hapless hide!), and secondly - they will usually be much more challenging and adaptive in how they fight back than stock runecraft monsters.
But basics first. You want to pkill - go to the wilderness. Turn north and walk for ages and you'll get there. The further into the wilderness you venture the more dangerous things become. The trick is in making sure it's dangerous for the other guy and not you. Ideally you'll want to attack someone of lower level, and you'll want to hit them from the south. If you hit them from the south they need to run north to get away from you. The further north they go the sooner they hit wilderness level 20. Once they get there they can't escape you by teleporting - you OWN them!
The most effective way of playerkilling is to do it in groups, lure a single player into a fight and then bring in the big hitting reinforcements. The most satisfying way of pkilling is to take someone one on one and fight to the death.
The warning is of course that you lose stuff if you die. So plan your entire strategy before you head north. Planned trips to the wilderness can be very profitable. Impulsive trips to the wilderness often end in hours of regathering equipment.
